Art For Life Chicago 2024

Your art is your life ~ Now use your art to impact other lives!

Art For Life Chicago guest jurors, Amy Kartheiser (Amy Kartheiser Design) and Peter Gahan (Detroit Art Specialists), along with Co-Chairs Darren Jones, Oliver Aguilar and Kim Winzeler invite you to submit your art and be part of the Art For Life Chicago (AFLC) 2024 Juried Competition, Exhibition and Auction event to benefit those who continue to battle HIV/AIDS.

When you enter and are selected as a contest winner, you will not only be helping others, but you will also gain exposure and expand your network of art collectors and fellow artists. You may also benefit from our Auction Gallery, plus enjoy shout outs via our social media campaign.

And if that's not enough, AFLC 2024 will again host "Three for Life," a three person show in the spring of 2025. Donate your art to AFLC today and be automatically entered in the competition to be one of the three lucky artists selected by our esteemed jurors.  

In addition to the “Three for Life” show, eight artists will have the opportunity to have their artwork placed in an auction during the River North Design District Art Walk in September. These artists will be contacted by the AFLC Co-Chairs after the jury process has been completed. These are opportunities for further exposure to the design world!

Art For Life Chicago Specifications:

• There is NO entry fee to submit your artwork for AFLC. Please use the submission instructions document below to help you complete your entries. Artists may submit as many pieces of art as they like.
• Acceptable art submissions include ceramics, drawings, collage, fiber art, 3-D, mixed media, print making, painting, glass, sculpture, photography, watercolor, neon and digital media.
• Submit a photo of your artwork by the August 5, 2024, deadline through your CPJam account.  We cannot accept actual artwork until after the judging period.
• You will be notified by the middle of September if your work is selected by our jurors for AFLC 2024.

Our 2 jurors will select up to one (1) piece of your artwork for inclusion in the event and auction. Artwork must be shipped to DIFFA Chicago for the in-person event. The artist is responsible for delivery or shipping of artwork to the designated address when determined. Actual artwork submitted to AFLC is considered a donation to DIFFA Chicago, and proceeds will be put to good use through our Excellence In Care unrestricted grants program.

Art For Life Chicago 2024 will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the South Lobby of The Mart in Chicago.  Winning and participating artists will receive one (1) event ticket and the opportunity to win a spot in the Three For Life Show.
